Ours is a simple close knit traditional hindu family brought up in a very no-nonsense and real manner where my parents expect us to be good mannered, independent, hard working and have faith in God in leading our lives. My father was a bank officer and my mother was a teacher in Dubai. We are settled in Canada with me being the oldest and the only girl and my siblings are in high school and university.
